We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or are required by law to do so.

Warranty Information

Who We Are

This warranty is being given to you by Builders Blinds.

What is Covered

Our products are covered by a non-transferable lifetime warranty against defective materials and workmanship. All materials can lose original intensity after long exposure to the sun. This warranty explicitly covers loss of color intensity for a period of 2 years after installation. Builders Blinds reserves the right to repair or replace any defective products or materials at their discretion.

What is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or any damage or loss caused by abuse or misuse or improper installation. Cords may eventually wear out after extended use. Builders Blinds considers this normal wear and tear not covered under this warranty. Colors may vary from lot to lot and may not exactly match swatches or previous purchases.

For How Long

The warranty coverage will be for as long as you, the original buyer, own our products.

What We Will Do

If your product is defective during warranty period we will, at our option, either repair or replace, without charge, that defective product. This shall be your sole remedy under this warranty.

Your Rights Under State Law

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.


FedEx Ground Shipping is free for all horizontal blinds 84” (width) or less being shipped within the 48 contiguous United States. Orders with oversized blinds (84” or more in width) will have an $80.00 shipping fee.

If the customer provides us an incorrect or undeliverable shipping address due to the customer’s mistake or unreachable phone number or/and email address, the customer will be responsible for all additional freight cost incurred. Builders Blinds is not responsible for mistakes made by a customer or/and by a shipping company. 

Color Disclaimer

Due to differences in monitors and how they portray colors, products cannot be returned due to dissatisfaction with color or material unless a sample was ordered first and the product arrived significantly different then the sample received. For this reason, we recommend ordering free sample swatches if you have any questions or concerns about your color selection.  Because window treatments on our website are custom-made and cannot be returned, we suggest you to complete the following;

  •  Request for free samples of our actual products prior to ordering. 
  • We strongly recommend you to order all of your blinds at the same time for the best possible match. Pattern availability and color dye lot match between orders cannot be assured.
  • Keep in mind that all samples may still have minimal color variations as stated by the manufacturers

Freight Damage / Missing Product / Lost Shipment
All claims shall be sent through an email to customerservice@buildersblinds.com within 7 business days of the original delivery date. If the email is received beyond that time period, Builders Blinds shall not be responsible for claim rejected by freight companies.

To acquire damage claims, most freight companies require their customers

  1. To email short description including digital photos as a proof for the claim within 7 business days of the original delivery date and
  2. To keep the original box and the damaged product for 30 days of the delivery date for the freight company to pick up for their investigation.

All customers must fulfill both requirements; otherwise, the damaged product(s) will be replaced or corrected at your expense. All remakes must be made according to the specifications given at the time of the original order. No exceptions! If the customer provides us an incorrect or undeliverable shipping address due to the customer’s mistake or unreachable phone number and/or email address, the customer will be responsible for all additional freight cost incurred. Builders Blinds is not responsible for mistakes made by the customer and/or by a shipping company.

The customer is responsible for all measurements. All of our window treatments are custom made upon the specifications the customer specifies on an online order form. We guarantee that they will perfectly fit your windows if you are familiar with product specifications and follow our measuring instructions. Therefore, it is very important that you research product specifications and follow our measuring instructions prior to placing your order. It’s also important that you review your confirmation page for accuracy. Your card will be charged at the time the order is placed because our window treatments are custom made.

When manufacturing your blinds, if we make a mistake, we will replace them or repair them at no cost to you. If you make a mistake by measuring or entering your measurement(s) or specifications into our website inaccurately, Builders Blinds accepts no responsibility for such mistakes.
